Overview

Simple Sound for Small Devices is designed as a very portable, cross-platform API for sound playback on small and embedded devices.  Target platforms include smartphones, PDAs, Smart  displays, webpads and embedded systems.  Target OSes include Linux (OSS/Free), Win32, WinCE/PPC/Smartphone, Symbian, and AmigaDE (both hosted and native).   The library is biased toward real-time audio applications (like games), but is suitable for a wide array of other uses.
